Erlang Functional Programming Workshop by Martin Logan

This is a workshop and is intended to be entirely hands on, so please arrive with Erlang installed on your laptop (if you don't have it installed, you can pair with someone). Basically, make sure that you can bring up a command prompt, type 'erl', and see the Erlang shell. This is the same workshop that was given at BarCamp Chicago, so you can get more info from BarCamp Chicago.

Martin is co-author of Concurrent Programming with Erlang/OTP published by Manning.

When: Thursday, October 23, 6:00-7:30
Where: Obtiva, 566 W. Adams St., Suite 400, Chicago, IL
Eating: Giordano's Pizza
